North Of Summer Let me know when you're going north of summer I'll tag along not so bad here on rainy Sunday afternoon thought of you still warms me up I haven't had enough I read your book read it cover to cover didn't take that long where'd it go? you seem so far away from me now in some distant land I held your hand That's when you remark how certain things always remind you that's when you remark how life should be Take it slow no need to run for cover here I understand go bang your drum even find another lover that broken heart will bury you I'll still marry you

Reminiscent 4 All roads leading back to you are over grown with broken dreams and twisted winds of blame drown out the days where joy remained these patterns of the mind that we in time may come to know so turbulent with madness senses stir immortal souls You are an artifact portrait painter phantom muse biography of all the reason why a hypothetical scenario set in the past reminiscent of and searching for The rivers of regret you row upon beneath the moon has washed your feet with all imperfections now removed the ghostly silence that is haunting you forever more begs the future to reveal itself while serendipity stands at the door You are a photograph a journal entry censorship a fading breath upon a pane of glass an ancient parable woven from leaves of grass reminiscent of and searching for You are invisible evidence of circumstance synopsis of a mercurial mind a lucid fever dream once awake I still recall reminiscent of and searching for

Hit It A Mile Batter up my darling hit it a mile there's a breeze out today that keeps the heat away for awhile suddenly it seems like everything has changed like the way it all turns green and the dandy lions sprout up from the ground I don't have much I have too much you won't stay in touch now that we're all grown up I know that things didn't turn out to be the way you thought they would it's hard to satisfy when love holds you down all the little things that bring you to mind left behind in the backyard just waiting there for memory to find I don't have much I have too much you won't stay in touch now that we're all grown up Batter up my darling hit it a mile there's a breeze out today that keeps the heat away for awhile

Franklin Beach It seems I'm hopeful I'm going to heaven you said you'd wait there till I'm done with this the nights are lonely I listen to the traffic and the clatter of the skateboarders tricks I was pathetic now I'm beholden I had objections I've now found acceptance I remember you were a terrible dancer but your eyes made everything right But by noon I'm thinking my day should be over I'll try not to rush through this life and I talk to the water on a beach they call Franklin as the sun sets behind the sky There is searching that's done int he winter and energy that comes out in spring there is innocence that is lost in the summer and peace as the leaves are falling But by noon I'm thinking my day should be over I'll try not to rush through this life and I talk to the water on a beach they call Franklin as the sun sets behind the sky

Marathon Man 04:01
Marathon Man Did you ever think that you would have to try and separate the clouds from the blue sky? 1975 the year it all began the rocking back and forth the places that I ran I'm holding on I'm holding on Did you ever think you'd have to figure out the patters of a brain the truth inside these doubts? forgot who I am forgot why we ran forgot why you care why you're still there I'm doing all I can Marathon Man Who would I be without you? I don't wanna think about it I just wanna carry on carrying on Did you ever think you'd have to declare the spirits in the house the shadows in the air? then again my friend it may be all pretend but it's leading me to do all I can Marathon Man Marathon Man Marathon Man

You Can Go Back You can go back back back you can go back back back I can be just like before I can be better I can be more forget a few things where you're at and you can go back back back you can go back back back you can go back back back I can be just like before I can be better I can be more do the things you used to do people will still give up on you you can go back back back you can go back back back Back is walking walking like you crawl straight up through down naked's the price for all naked beautiful girl woman bare your soul bare it all now let me know what it is that you know I've been trying real hard looking for a job I've been looking through the eyes of a frantic man I've been trying to find some soul in all the boys and girls who used to talk about so much more than tells and visions And I'm never gonna see them change and I'm never gonna re-arrange I'm only with you cause I'm lazy and I'm crazy and I'm holding on you can go back back back you can go back back back

Things We Would Say I mix cement to dry as hard as stone and fix the crack that the winter has worn it was crumbling falling away to the ground I'm imagining I wrote you a note that you read in your home it would say something new you didn't know and there are things you would say and I don't know When you find a home it isn't always where your from you aren't the things that you have done it's just sometimes we gotta do things while we wait If you think of me I guess I'd like to know even if I already know I can take hint I can read a look I can clear a path and there are things that you would say and I don't know There are stones in your shoes little stones little poems there are stones in your shoes little stones little poems I mix cement to dry as hard as stone and fix the crack that the winter has worn it was crumbling falling away to the ground there are things you would say I don't know all those thing that you would say and I don't know

New Beginnings All the gifts god gave me I don't understand and now and then they slip through my hands over towering cedars time commands all the winding rivers of best laid plans In my darkest hour I may cast a stone or drift into the wonder of the great unknown my friends - my family say I'm not alone it's in the place I'm standing where I'm home But the wind it called me over there to the clear blue water and the clean fresh air they say there's new beginnings if you dare but the winters cold and the fields are bare In every family one's gonna stay one's gonna go cause they'll never be themselves until the roam forever haunted by what they might never know safer with strangers and the love that they show A soulful clarity that's peace of mind till the doors of conspiracy blow open wide as passion and reason are the day and the night our waking hours the cast of lights
